Is this the best way to test the reliability of an A2 license trail motorcycle
There are people who use their A2 trail bike to ride relaxed on the road, while others dare to go to the extreme. Really?
Macbor has once again put itself to the test with the goal of covering the most ambitious adventures at the controls of its models.
It's another way to win the hearts of trail enthusiaststhrough the third edition of La Montana Experience.
This is an adventurous journey along the Pyrenees that has served as a testing ground for the renewed Montana XR5 510.

This year's edition, held last May, challenged the specialized press for over 435 mi. (700 km).

As a "gift," the weather conditions didn't cooperate at all, with heavy, persistent rain, hail, fog, etc.
If you add to all this a predominantly slippery terrain, the adventure in capital letters was guaranteed.
A classic of trail gatherings
La Montana Experience is gradually becoming one of the most prominent trail events among the industry press.

Not for nothing, Macbor defines itself as a manufacturer of "motorcycles with soul," which led to the birth of this initiative.
Without a doubt, an experience that goes beyond the motorcycle and perfectly sums up the brand spirit and philosophy of Grupo Motos Bordoy.
The first La Montana Experience took place in 2018 and it was already clear that it emerged to break the mold with the first Montana XR3.

It was a true statement of intent in the Catalan brand's trail commitment.
The Montana XR3 would surprise with its successful development, especially off-road, even though it had never been tested so extremely before.
This first adventure took place through the Pyrenees with almost 500 mi. (800 km) of the most demanding tracks, and partly on the road.

The second edition featured the Montana XR5 as the main character on a route through Maestrazgo, with 70% asphalt and 30% off-road.
Here, Macbor made it clear which model was the flagship of the brand, showing its versatility through its enormous potential.
Currently, La Montana Experience has once again traced its route through the Pyrenees, recalling the principles set in its first edition.
From the mountain to the sea by land and asphalt: a trans-Pyrenean adventure
There were three intense days that participants had to endure and overcome during this year's 2025 event.
It was necessary in this case to cover the 451 mi. (726 km) that separate Puigcerdà and Donosti, crossing spectacular and challenging landscapes.

As usual, they put to the test the dynamic capabilities as well as the resilience of the latest version of the Montana.
The itinerary combined 74% paved sections with 26% tracks, highlighting the balance between comfort, agility, and robustness offered by this mid-displacement trail.
