The 10 motorcycles most preferred by Spaniards during vacation season
This is how the motorcycle market is doing in Spain: it's growing. These are the best-selling motorcycles this August
The month of August confirms the year's trend. It ends with a 10.5% increase in sales, in a year whose average growth is now 10%.
Two 125 cc scooters continue to lead the market, as has been the case in recent years, and show how the 125 scooter remains the best current mobility solution.

In first place in the ranking is still the great leader of the year, the Yamaha NMAX 125, an agile and efficient urban scooter.
Right behind is the Honda PCX 125, another unquestionable benchmark in the segment, now already in its fifth generation presented this year.
In third place on the podium is the Voge 900 DSX. It's the first "large" motorcycle in the ranking. It's a good example of how the arrival of new Chinese brands is transforming the motorcycle landscape in Spain.

In addition, in fifth place is the Zontes 368 G, making it the first scooter with a displacement higher than 125 in the list.
1-Yamaha NMAX 125

Yamaha's small urban bestseller stands out for its well-balanced technical package. Its water-cooled Blue-Core engine delivers 12.2 hp at 8,000 rpm, paired with a curb weight of 291 lbs. (132 kg).
In its latest evolution, the Start&Stop system and ABS-assisted brakes were included as standard. This has made it one of the favorites among Spaniards, as it has shown throughout this year.
Two versions, Standard and Tech Max, starting at €3,589 for the most affordable one.
2-Honda PCX 125

Honda's urban benchmark scooter keeps its position with confidence. It achieves this thanks to its water-cooled eSP+ engine, which delivers 12.5 hp at 8,750 rpm, with a curb weight of 293 lbs. (133 kg).
It also stands out for its exceptional efficiency: it consumes only 112 mpg (2.1 l/100 km), a key figure for its long range.
It loses ground throughout the year compared to its main rival, which seems somewhat better equipped, but it makes up for it with agility and smoothness that are hard to match. Also two versions, Standard and DX, starting at €3,499.
3-Voge 900 DSX

Voge's large trail is the trendiest motorcycle, without a doubt, in 2025. It features a twin-cylinder 54.6 cu in. (895 cc) engine that delivers 95 hp at 8,250 rpm, with a dry weight of 474 lbs. (215 kg).
With a version for the A2 license and a price that remains below €10,000 and plenty of equipment, it's a very attractive option for many users, as it's proving.
It now includes a six-axis IMU that allows cornering ABS function and other aids.
It features traction control, blind spot radar, and brake warning, and is completed with a KYB adjustable fork, Brembo brakes, quick shifter, and 7" TFT display with connectivity.
All this for €9,192.
4-Kymco Agility S 125

It hasn't been five months since the launch of the latest model of Kymco's high-wheel bestseller, now under the name Agility S.
Of course, it represents the most advanced and up-to-date version within this popular family of scooters. It keeps an air-cooled single-cylinder engine with 10.46 hp at 8,500 rpm, with a curb weight of 295 lbs. (134 kg).
This is a scooter that has modernized and updated its appearance very successfully. It's tough, reliable, and economical. In addition, it comes with a standard top case, making it one of the high-wheel scooters with the largest load capacity on the market.
It starts at €2,450.
5-Zontes 368 G

Zontes presents its 368 G directly as the new benchmark in crossovers. Judging by the result, it's clear they're right.
This scooter impresses with its 38.8 hp and 29.5 lb-ft (40 Nm) of torque for its 403 lbs. (183 kg) dry weight. This makes it, on paper, the most powerful in its category.
As always with the brand, it features plenty of equipment, a striking appearance, and an affordable price. These are key to its success in an original scooter with cross-spoke wheels, with a 17" front.
Its price is €5,592.
6-Yamaha X-MAX 125

It's the heir to a long line of elegant sport scooters. In this current generation, it uses an engine with slightly less power, but it remains generous in equipment.
It features ABS and traction control for total confidence in the city. It also has keyless start via Smart Key and 4.3" LCD instrumentation with smartphone connectivity. Not to forget a large under-seat compartment with capacity for two helmets and a USB-C port.
All under a modern and clearly premium look, with a latest-generation engine that delivers 12 hp.
A standard X-MAX starts at €5,499.
7-Honda SH 125 Scoopy

It seems that Honda has been doomed this year to chase models from its great rival. The seventh in this "Top Ten" is another classic in the sales lists, in this case for many years: the Honda SH 125.
True high-wheel, it features two 16" wheels and a flat floor, as it always has. The 2025 SH is a scooter with a eSP+ engine (like the PCX) and minimal consumption. It adds Full LED lighting and a "smart" top box that works with the scooter's proximity key.
It features a 13 hp engine, with a curb weight of 302 lbs. (137 kg). It's completed with disc brakes with ABS and idle stop. All this makes it a highly appreciated city scooter, which costs €4,190.
8-SYM Symphony 125

It's one of the best-selling high-wheel scooters in Spain. In fact, in the year-to-date, it holds the 4th overall position.
The Symphony continues to be offered in several versions (SR and LC), with different engines and options. This is a scooter that stands out for its undeniable urban practicality and comfortable design.
These are agile and functional scooters, with prices starting at €2,499. This is the case for the SR edition, the most affordable one.
9-Honda Forza 125

The Forza is one of the most interesting premium GTs on the market.
It combines versatility and technology with its 15 hp engine for a curb weight of 362 lbs. (164 kg). This way, it manages to be one of the fastest 125 scooters on the market, remaining manageable and very agile in the city.
This is a scooter with a great look, elegant and attractive, and it features very comprehensive equipment. It includes a 5" TFT display with RoadSync connectivity, Smart Key, ABS brakes, and details such as its electrically adjustable windscreen or its traction control.
Its price is set at €5,550. Equipment, technology, and performance come at a price.
10-SYM Jet 14 LC 125

This month's list is closed by another SYM, in this case the Jet 14 LC, the brand's most modern city-focused offering.
It features LED lighting, flat floor, and modern lines, in an agile and lightweight scooter, at just 284 lbs. (129 kg), with two 14" wheels.
The SYM Jet 14 LC features a 12 hp engine. Its side radiator stands out in a scooter well designed for urban use, with a price of €2,599.
