Just got your A2 license and don't know which motorcycle to buy: the 10 best-selling models
You've just gotten your A2 license and doubts are starting to creep in. The best-selling motorcycles in Spain will at least give you some clues
We're not going to tell you which motorcycle you should buy. Only you should decide that.
But it's worth looking at what's really working in the market. That, at least, will tell you which ones are worth considering, right?
Here are the 10 best-selling motorcycles in July 2025 that can be ridden with the A2 license, either stock or restricted.
1. Voge 900 DSX (€9,192)
(5th in the overall ranking)

One of the year's big surprises. This Chinese-made twin-cylinder adventure bike has climbed into the Top 5 in sales thanks to a very clear formula: a lot for a little.
It offers more than 90 hp (67 kW), but it can be restricted to 47 hp (35 kW) for the A2. It comes standard with a TFT display, panniers, crash bars, cruise control and a very well-achieved look.
For its price and equipment, it's a smart buy. Its success proves it.
2. Honda ADV 350 (€6,740)
(8th overall position)

If city riding is your thing but you like that adventurous look of modern adventure bikes, the ADV 350 is a great option.
This crossover scooter combines the Forza 350's base with that off-road look and adds more capable suspension.
It's comfortable, practical, with plenty of storage under the seat, easy to ride fast, and well equipped. Plus, it's a Honda.
3. Honda X-ADV (€13,380)
(12th in the overall ranking)

The X-ADV remains a unique concept between a motorcycle and an adventure scooter.
750 cc twin-cylinder engine, DCT automatic transmission and premium motorcycle equipment.
Five riding modes, TFT display with connectivity and adjustable windscreen, in a different motorcycle that's been very successful.
4. Kawasaki Z900 A2 (€10,650)
(15th position)

A true naked bike. The Z900 is one of the few bikes of this size that can legally be restricted for the A2. Note, you must always buy the 95 hp (71 kW) version.
This motorcycle bases much of its success on several key points, such as its versatility, modern and aggressive look, and a more than reasonable price for a Japanese bike.
It features traction control, TFT display with connectivity, and riding modes. It's a motorcycle with a good level of electronics for its price, plus, it's just been updated.
5. Yamaha MT-07 (€7,799)
(16th in the overall ranking)

Yamaha revolutionized the segment years ago with the launch of a compact twin-cylinder, with just the right equipment, good performance, a lot of versatility and a well-executed look.
Without a doubt, the MT-07 now faces more competition, but it remains among the favorites for those seeking a fun, characterful naked bike, since it's managed to evolve logically.
A contained price, in an attractive, aggressively styled motorcycle, with logical equipment for its performance and price, now joined by the interesting Y-AMT transmission version.
6. Yamaha XMAX 300 (€6,499)
(17th position)

Yamaha's mid-size scooter has continued to evolve. Better equipped every day, reinforcing the "premium" position it wants to occupy, with a look that, as always, knows how to blend elegance with sportiness.
It comes in three versions, Standard, Tech Max, and +, with higher equipment and even more elegance. It's a scooter inheriting a long lineage always marked by good performance and sporty handling.
Proximity key, traction control, adjustable windscreen, and an original LCD dashboard that allows mobile connection in the standard version.
The equipment is improved in the Tech Max with the TFT dashboard with navigation and special finishes with a faux leather seat.
7. Honda Forza 350 (€6,500)
(18th in sales)

Direct rival of its ADV sibling, it's less successful precisely because of one of its perhaps most positive features. It offers a more elegant and discreet line, less flashy. It's a GT.
It's very well equipped, with accessories like its 5-inch TFT instrumentation integrated with connectivity. It features full LED lighting, HSTC traction control, smart key, and electrically adjustable windscreen up to 7 in. (180 mm).
It's a scooter that's good on the highway, agile in the city, and very well thought out in its details. While it faces current rivals with better prices, it still offers top-level quality.
8. Honda NX 500: €7,425
(20th overall position)

Another adventure bike that's been in the sights of those getting the A2 for years. The CB 500 X is known for being easy, reliable, effective, and versatile.
It's already been replaced in the line-up by the new NX 500, which inherits the CB 500 X's architecture. It's still a valid option, now improved in equipment and with the addition of a new look.
It features a TFT display, connectivity, and two front discs. Also, a Showa inverted fork and Pro-Link monoshock, in a motorcycle that's sure to repeat the successes of its predecessor.
9. Zontes 703 F (€7,992)
(22nd in the overall ranking)

Zontes's first step into the big bike world is an adventure bike with its own three-cylinder, 95 hp (71 kW) engine, in a visually striking motorcycle.
It features a perimeter aluminum frame, JJuan brakes with radial calipers, adjustable Marzocchi suspension, and spoked wheels. It's an adventure bike from this new generation that's revolutionizing the market.
Well equipped, as is usual for the brand, it includes a TFT dashboard, smart key, quickshifter, and traction control. Plus, a ton of details in a motorcycle that looks high-end, but with an accessible price.
10. Yamaha 700 Ténéré (€10,999)
(23rd position)

Another Yamaha closes out the ranking of the month's best-selling A2 bikes and is also the adventure bike with the most off-road spirit in the ranking.
It features long-travel suspension, knobby tires, a large tank, and a CP2 twin-cylinder revised for this use. All within a tough, steel-tube frame.
The Ténéré draws on Yamaha's long experience to offer a true adventure bike, improved with every update.
It features three-mode ABS and a body well adapted to off-road use, with that four-headlight front end that gives it personality. It adds a TFT display in a motorcycle that knows how to balance equipment with the robustness needed for off-road use.
