They dominate the geared motorcycle segment with an iron fist, and there's a reason for it
The Voge 900DSX is the first Chinese motorcycle to lead the Spanish market for geared motorcycles
Although scooters still dominate the bulk of sales, motorcycles with manual transmissions continue to be a growing sector. They show positive growth of more than 3% compared to last year.
Looking at the main players in this top sales list, it's clear that the Spanish market remains a market for versatile motorcycles. That's why trail bikes reign supreme.
Prices, deals, technical specs, and images of ALL TRAIL MOTORCYCLES FOR THE A2 LICENSE
Among them, the market leader in 2025 is Voge 900 DSX. This is a motorcycle that keeps this privilege thanks to its combination of performance, equipment, and price.
It has already reached 2,467 units (2,467 units) and can be considered something more serious than just a warning from the new Chinese brands.

In fact, you'll find two Zontes in 7th and 8th place on the list. The 703F is a three-cylinder trail bike that, after just a few weeks in stores, already has over 1,000 deliveries (over 1,000 deliveries). It's followed by the Zontes custom C 125, which has been among the market leaders in the 125 cc segment for months.
The position of the Honda X-ADV also stands out, a pioneering model that keeps for itself the second place in the market with over 1,500 deliveries (over 1,500 deliveries). This is a motorcycle that combines in one the two major trends in our market: scooter and trail.
The first non-trail bike in the market is once again the Kawasaki Z900, a naked bike renewed in 2025. For another season, it reflects the success of the most popular of Kawa's Z models.
It has achieved nearly 1,400 registered units (nearly 1,400 registered units), a model always with significant deals. This is how it keeps being the rival to beat among the large road motorcycles.
Trail motorcycles: The category that doesn't slow down
Trail means versatility. Voge 900 DSX has swept the market. A large, well-equipped motorcycle at a reasonable price and with an attractive design.
Behind it is the Honda X-ADV. A hybrid between maxiscooter and trail, a great success for the Japanese brand.
With 1,538 units (1,538 units), it's a regular in the top spots. It keeps consolidating its strength in our market month after month.

The third contender is another Honda. The CB500X is a classic for the A2 license. Reliable and affordable, it has spent many years proving that it's a safe bet.
Other big names follow. The BMW R 1300 GS, recently renewed, ranks fourth among trail bikes with 1,118 units (1,118 units). This is always if you count the standard and Adventure versions separately.
The latter appears a bit further back with 924 registered motorcycles (924 registered motorcycles). But BMW still leads the high-end trail segment.
There are the new F 900 GS and F 800 GS, plus the F 900 XR. Not breaking records, but present on the list.

Zontes appears on the list, in fifth position among trail bikes. Its new 703F already has over 1,000 units delivered (over 1,000 units delivered).
It's very close to the CB500X. It features a very special design, good equipment, and a good price, in a different motorcycle. Above all, for its three-cylinder engine.
The Yamaha Ténéré 700 is a true classic on the sales charts. It keeps in the Top 10 trail with 911 units (911 units).
The Honda Transalp 750 holds its own with 611 motorcycles (611 motorcycles).
Naked motorcycles: Japanese refuge
Maybe it's because the naked motorcycle is usually chosen by a younger audience who values the brand differently. Maybe it's because Chinese brands have started their strongest push with trail bikes. The truth is that traditional naked bikes withstand the Chinese onslaught.

In the overall ranking, the best positioned is once again the Kawasaki Z900, with 1,369 units (1,369 units). Well priced, it's well regarded and has accumulated high sales for years. Now it's recently renewed.
It's followed by the Yamaha MT-07, with 1,307 units (1,307 units). Another icon, simple and fun, it can be easily adapted to the A2 license, which helps its sales.
The third on the naked list is the Honda CB650R, a naked with a bit of a sporty touch. It follows on the general list the only sport bike on this sales list, its sister CBR 650R.
With lower numbers than its rivals, it stands out as a very interesting motorcycle. Now, in addition, it's a benchmark among motorcycles with new transmission systems, such as its e-Clutch.
751 units (751 units) of the CB 650 R delivered prove the validity of a classic but timeless concept. Like its four-cylinder engine, in a sporty, sober, elegant, and very usable motorcycle.
A European motorcycle makes it among the best-selling naked bikes, closing the group is the BMW F900R, with 404 units (404 units).
It's a more premium option, a newly renewed motorcycle that has improved its position in terms of price, performance, and equipment ratio.
125 motorcycles: The gateway
Among the 125 manual motorcycles, a well-equipped custom with a 15 hp engine continues to lead the segment. This way, it's able to match the performance of a sport bike. It's the Zontes C125, of which 965 units (965 units) have been delivered.

Next comes the Yamaha MT-125 with 714 registrations (714 registrations). A motorcycle that's been in the top sales of the 125s for years.
It shows a considerable size in a motorcycle that evokes the shapes and manners of the larger MT models. In this case, it's a version for the car license market.
Conclusion: The market is moving
The picture for 2025 is clear. The market is still trail, with naked bikes also selling well.
Within this landscape, there's a brand that surprises, Zontes, which places two models in the Top 10. Another leading brand is Honda, present in all categories. Meanwhile, BMW, with a trail range that leaves no gaps, backed by a F 900 R that's positioned well after its renewal.
The Voge effect with the extraordinary result of its 900 DSX. A motorcycle with all the cards to become the best-selling one in 2025.
