KYMCO, FM Confirmed: the highly anticipated 3-wheel maxiscooter from a top brand is arriving now
High-displacement, three-wheeled scooter that was unveiled in 2021 and is now debuting, additionally, with a new surname
The wait is over. Starting at the end of this year, there will be three-wheeled scooters from four different brands.
Until now, in 2025, versions from the pioneering Piaggio, Peugeot, and Yamaha were present in the market. Now, another major brand joins the market. It already presented the final version at the last EICMA Milan Show 2024.
KYMCO has confirmed the commercialization of the CV3 575. It is scheduled for November of this year.
This marks the beginning of the European commercialization of this new generation of three-wheeled maxiscooters.
The announcement was made by Ernesto Ko, President of the brand in Spain. According to his words, "this model combines technological innovation, sportiness, composure, and a remarkable dose of sophistication."
This first three-wheeled scooter from KYMCO will be derived from the sporty twin-cylinder lineage of the AK 550. The essence of the new KYMCO CV3 575 is based on a dual approach: uncompromising sportiness and stability.
KYMCO's approach relies on innovative chassis geometry, a powerful engine, and suspensions that guarantee performance at its level, ideal for both winding roads and urban commuting.
The claim of being "sporty, high-performance, sophisticated, composed, robust..." is not rhetoric. It synthesizes the transformation of an announced base into a refined and efficient edition.
A paradigm among three-wheeled scooters
The original KYMCO CV3 revolutionized the segment by offering a twin-cylinder engine derived from the AK 550.
It takes premium features from this, such as response modes or the "Multi Fit" platform for accessories. Also, a sporty and versatile look for the validated B license.
This combination of versatility, technology, and aesthetic identity will now be elevated to a higher level in the KYMCO CV3 575.
This three-wheeler not only continues the legacy of the first tricycle announced by KYMCO four years ago. It promises to be its most remarkable and elegant version.
It will feature all the traits that made the original a distinctive option.
Special emphasis has been placed on the chassis design, engine-suspension balance, and attention to proportions. All this confirms that we are witnessing a new era in the field of three-wheeled scooters.
As is usual with KYMCO, it is very likely that the new model will feature exclusivities in the Spanish market. Whether in finishes, colors, or the tuning of some of its technical components.
The price is yet to be announced. However, analyzing the strategy followed in the latest launches from the Taiwanese brand, it will be more than competitive.
