Honda PCX 125 and Yamaha NMAX have their own particular battle in our country, far from the rest of the competition. This reality will repeat in 2025.

The preferred 125 scooters in our country

With data from January to June, the Yamaha NMAX 125 stands as the leader with 6,419 units. Next to it, the Honda PCX 125 has 4,508 registrations. The third is far behind: SYM Symphony 125 with 2,889 units.

It so happens that both Yamaha and Honda are launching new versions in 2025. This is further proof of their relevance in each of the Japanese catalogs.

One fact that is surprising about these figures refers to their prices. They are by no means the most affordable among all 125 scooters. On the contrary, both are in the highest price range.

There are models from Chinese brands, much cheaper, that follow their stylistic pattern and philosophy. But they can't come close to their numbers.
